What is STTC (Shift to the Cloud) & when is it happening?
What is STTC (Shift to the Cloud) ?
For the past several years, We have been on a journey called Shift to the cloud, STTC for short. Shift to the clouds goal is having all 3 schools data in Microsoft 365 which includes moving our in-school drives like departments and staff pool, as well as all our Google shared drives and Classrooms into Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
What is Shift to the Cloud? - STTC is moving all on-site shared drives at ALNS & Trafalgar to Microsoft 365 (Teams and SharePoint), and moving all Google data into Microsoft 365. Mayfield data is already in 365, so they will join Phases 2 & 3 next year.
When is it happening? - There are 3 phases, and the project finishes at the end of August 2026 ready for September 2026
What do I need to do now? - Teaching staff at ALNS & Trafalgar need to move department teaching data to the new folders setup in Departments (ALNS) & Staff Pool (TRA) by Dec 15th 2025.
